How can I place two sets of subtitles on a video?

Hello,

I am looking to place two Subtitle files in a video side by side. For example, I want French subs to be in the left and English on the right. Is there any way of doing so? Would appreciate any help.

PS: I can convert the video and subtitle files to any format required.
