Why am I getting an error message saying “Facebook is down due to maintenance” while other people around me are accessing it?

October 05, 2014 at 04:50PM: I cant access my Facebook account. Whenever I try to log in, it says that “Facebook is down due to maintainance and will be back soon “. Meanwhile, my friends are being able to view my profile from their own account. what is it?
