Omegle: Talk to strangers!

Omegle is a brand-new service for meeting new friends. When you use Omegle, we pick another user at random and let you have a one-on-one chat with each other. Chats are completely anonymous, although there is nothing to stop you from revealing personal details if you would like.

Two of the most common feature requests I received in Omegle's early days were for typing notification, and an iPhone app. When I implemented typing notification, there was only one logical thing to do next: make an iPhone app!

The Omegle iPhone app passed Apple's approval process today, and it's now available in the app store for $0.99. If you'd like to be able to chat with random strangers from anywhere you go, and you own an iPhone or iPod Touch, be sure to check it out.
