Create your own personalized and meaningful eCards

October 30, 2013 at 02:56PM: Have you checked out the price of greetings cards recently? It's no wonder that so many people choose to use social networks to say happy birthday to their friends rather than their rather expensive paper equivalent. Are generic printer cartridges worth the risk?

October 30, 2013 at 02:08PM: Hi all, Recently I had posted regarding a Brother HL5470DW that was jamming for double-sided printing, shortly after I replaced my original Brother toner cartridge with a replacement I received a number of great suggestions, one of which was to clean the inside of the printer out. While I tried this, noticing excessive toner all over, I was not trained (or did not research in time) to figure out how to clean the printer thoroughly – the double sided prints continued to come out ‘crumpled’. So, realizing the printer was less than a year old on only on it’s first (generic) replacement cartridge, I exercised the warranty. The printer was fixed, I was informed it needed to be cleaned out, and the bill would have been $70 if the printer was no longer under warranty. The printer new was only $180. The tech people offered the advice that generic (e.g. non-Brother) cartridges are often good 9 out of 10 times. I’m now wondering whether I should continue to use gener...

Why does an Active Directory trust relationship fail?

October 30, 2013 at 02:04PM: Here at my workplace, they installed a domain (don’t know whick Windows they used). And every so often I’m called because some users have problems logging (back, in some cases) into their workstations. And seeing their attempts at log in, I see a message saying something about a failure in establishing a trust relationship between the workstation and the domain server. Now, I fixed that several times logging in as a local Administrator, then removing the computer from the domain, and, after a reboot, joining it again to the domain. That’s my solution (don’t know if it works the same for anybody else.) My question here is: what causes the failure in establishing the trust relationship? And are there ways to prevent it? Thank you all for your answers, beforehand Post and answer: Why does an Active Directory trust relationship fail? Read Question - Answers: MakeUseOf Answers
