Why can’t I see files from letter P onwards on a folder on my external drive?

One folder in my external drive doesn’t display files from letter O onwards. They’re there because I tried to download video file and named it in Y letter, when I played it in Google Chrome Downloads it played, but when I tried to click “show in folder” it only shows the folder where it is but doesn’t show up. please help me, thanks.
