Snippet Repo provides a space for web developers to find, share, store and vote on quality solutions to code problems. This platform is designed to save developers the time spent rewriting code by providing an organized repository for useful code snippets. The primary competitors in this market are Snipplr and Gists. Snipplr is an old code repository that although has a large database, is unorganised and low quality. Gists is much better with a large user base, however lacks the social aspect. Snippet Repo is better in the way that the invitation-only membership and voting system keeps quality high, and through the tagging system, it is kept organised and easily accessible.
