How do I import my contacts from Hotmail into Outlook?

April 22, 2014 at 12:39AM:

My computer person set up my Windows 8 so that email sent to my Hotmail account would be forwarded to my Outlook application. None of my contacts, calendar, etc. from Hotmail are accessible by my Outlook. How can I do this?

I try to sign into Google with the Hotmail website and I am just brought to an outlook application that is the original outlook before it imports my Hotmail. I can only access my actual Hotmail emails through the “mail” icon. I still can’t access my Hotmail calendar, contacts. etc. Help!
