Flashcards is a free German vocabulary trainer app designed specifically for mobile devices. Even though similar apps exist already, Flashcards has a couple of extra nifty features that set it apart. For example, users create their own customized dictionary. The dictionary supports synonyms, spell checking and automatic conjugation of German verbs. Of course one can also create dictionaries that can be shared with others. Flashcards has a number of other useful features too, such as customizable quizzes and the ability to group words into themes. It is a web app that also works offline (except the spell checker and automatic conjugation of verbs which require users to be online).
