New open-source model that dwarfs GPT-3 aims to free AI from Big Tech labs


A language model bigger than GPT-3 has arrived with a bold  ambition: freeing AI from Big Tech’s clutches. Named BLOOM, the large language model (LLM) promises a similar performance to Silicon Valley’s leading systems — but with a radically different approach to access.
